Grocey Store Haul
Leg Day & Grocery Haul
Good morning... Good Morning....GOOD MORNING!!! Today, I'll just be doing a blog post....mostly because I couldn't get any good footage at the gym today since there were so many people!!
I'm not quite comfortable enough to film myself in front of people yet.....I don't want to be "that girl!" However in groups filming is totally acceptable, don't ask me why. Just a little break down of my morning for ya!
Started off in a hurry this morning so I threw together some plain Greek yogurt, 1/2 scoop protein powder, 1/4 cup raspberries, 1/4 cup grapes, a cup of coffee and out the door I went!
Next meal was after class around 10:00 I scarfed down a quest bar, I was starving!
Since I procrastinated this weekend and did NOT meal prep, I thought it was a good idea to run by HEB and grab some items for the week!
Here we have:
Rice cakes Carmel & individual bags for snacking
Raspberries
Strawberries
Tri-Color Peppers
Brussel Sprouts
Asparagus
Broccoli
Green Beans
Gluten Free Oats
Egg Beaters
Almond Milk
Turkey bacon
Canadian Ham (gotta love those Canadians)
coffee creamer and Artic Zero
After my shopping trip I was hungry again-----> go figure. So I ate two Carmel corn rice cakes with almond butter for some energy before the gym.....
Doesn't everyone drink there pre-workout from a Despicable Me cup?
Cause I'm Happieeeeee.....

Good Morning! Happy Friday! I love Fridays because
1) I don't have class in the mornings
2) I can sleep in and take things nice and slow
It feels so good to have a change of pace. A change from the usual rushed mornings of cooking breakfasts, packing lunches, rushing to the bus stop, rushing to school, ect....
I really do think its important to have a day of "your speed" whatever that speed may be, mine however is s-l-o-w!
So i wanted to share some meals Ive made over the past couple days and since I a on a high carb load right now I have been loving incorporating corn tortillas into our dinners the past few days!
First up is BBQ pork tacos:
pork tenderloin
sweet bab rays bbq sauce
water
green cabbage
vegeneese
salt & pepper
limes
1. place pork tenderloin in crock pot cover with bbq sauce and water
2. cook 4-6 hours
3. slice 1/2 cabbage
4. add 1 large scoop of vegeneese
5. salt & pepper
6. add to toasted tortillas
Last night I experimented again with tacos and tried to recreate a healthy version of Mexico street tacos!
1 lb ground turkey
garlic
cilantro
queso fresco cheese
avocado
limes
1. add olive oil to pan saute chopped garlic
2. add ground turkey season with garlic salt, and pepper
3. add to toasted tortillas
4. top with cilantro, avocado, & cheese!
Thanks all folks!
Goals
Howdy there! So what's been going on in my life right now is that I've decided to compete in a bikini competition! This will be happening July 26th which gives me about about 5 months to prepare!
I've already set withs up with a nutrition coach for $300.00 this includes:
macros planning
check in every two weeks w/ photos
cardio & weight workouts
poseing classes
tanning.
I have support from my husband, family and friends. So it's official....I'm doing this!!! I know I am a touch early with the prep considering most bikini competitors don't begin until 3 months pre show but hey......this is my first time so I want to be EXTRA ready!!
I am planning on using this blog to document my meals, workouts and progress with pictures
(and funny banter)
Right now I stand at 5'7
Weight 132lbs
Body fat 18%
Macros are
Protein 160g
Carbs 280g
I will be focusing on building my shoulders, glutes and back for the month of February!
Here are some before pics:
No biceps!
Believe it or not these are not are abs,
I have weird ribs that give the "effect" of abs!
*go figure*
I got this shirt at marshals and I absolutely LOVE it!
To win any battle in life you need to be STRONG spiritually, physically, & mentally!
I truly believe this with all my heart!
So here I am...... going to step out into the unknown! As scary and uncomfortable as it makes me, I think its a good thing! I think its good to always push yourself, to do things you think are impossible!
I heard a quote the other day that said:
If your dreams don't scare you
maybe there not BIG enough!
So please follow my journey if you would like too!
